Global O-Ring and Seal has thousands of O-rings, seals, and other sealing-related products with thousands of SKUs in stock. While preparing to move to a new facility, the management team was looking for an efficient warehouse system. They needed more efficient inventory management and a better way to find and pick inventory that would ship the same day the customer ordered it.
Solution
The company purchased three Modula VLMs, providing 1,115㎡ of storage space on a 43㎡ footprint, and reduced the footprint by 90%. Parts stored in the warehouse have also grown from 5,000 SKUs to more than 10,000. Inventory is better managed by integrating the ERP system with Modula WMS (Warehouse Management System).
