Nanjing Grandpak Packaging Machinery Co., Ltd. is a leading domestic manufacturer of filling and packaging equipment, providing high-quality filling and packaging solutions for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other industries. With rapid business growth, the variety and volume of materials have continued to increase, putting growing pressure on warehouse management.
Pain Points
As material variety continued to grow, so did the pressure on warehouse management. Traditional shelving could no longer meet increasing production demands, making an upgrade imperative.
Solution
At the invitation of Modula’s core distributor, Nanjing Sruier Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd., Grandpak’s leadership visited Modula’s local manufacturing base in Suzhou. They were deeply impressed by Modula’s highly automated smart factory and ultimately decided to adopt Modula automated vertical lift modules for their warehouse upgrade.
In 2022, Grandpak installed its first Modula VLM. After the user experience exceeded expectations, the company continued to add more units, ultimately deploying a total of 7 VLMs.
Currently, Grandpak primarily uses Modula Lift models MX50, MX75, and ML50D, all customized at 8.5 meters in height with internal picking bays.
The Modula VLMs make full use of vertical space, increasing storage capacity to 10 times that of traditional shelving, significantly relieving warehouse space constraints.Picking and counting have become faster and more accurate, achieving a qualitative leap in warehouse management efficiency.
