On-site electrical connections and customized products and solutions. It is an excellent global supplier in the electrical industry integrating R&D, production, sales and service.

Pain Points

  • Supu needs to build a new digital factory. The company’s goal is a full-process automatic production line. Warehousing is an important link. They want to quickly find an intelligent warehousing solution that can save storage area and integrate the intelligent warehousing management system WMS with the factory’s existing system to achieve closed-loop management from product orders, production to delivery.
  • Supu’s electronic raw materials, electronic components and maintenance accessories are diverse and sophisticated and require a good storage environment.
  • The company’s warehousing colleagues are located on the first and fourth floors. They hope to be able to pick up goods/inventory without going up and downstairs, so as to effectively improve the picking efficiency.

Solution

In order to better solve customers’ problems, Modula Sales gives the following solutions:

1. Install two 16.1-meter double-layer built-in access Modula Lift series automated vertical warehouses for storing raw materials, electronic components and maintenance accessories. This completes the intelligentization of warehousing in one step and better realizes a full-process automatic production line.

Now Modula’s containers occupy an area of less than 30 square meters, but store 90% of the company’s materials. Each container is equipped with two picking ports, distributed on different floors, equivalent to a freight elevator. And picking up and replenishing goods can be done at the same time, increasing efficiency by 1.5 times.

The warehouse of the original factory required two employees. After the installation of Modula automated warehouses in the new factory, only one employee is now needed to complete all the work in the warehouse, which greatly saves the company’s labor costs.

2. In order to better improve the operator’s picking speed and accuracy, the customer also installed a laser indicator light auxiliary device, so that the operator can quickly find the materials to be picked in the pallet just by following the instructions, which improves the picking efficiency and avoids errors.
