These orders are sent via an intermediate database or text file: in intelligent vertical warehouse practice, orders refer to trays to be picked and their associated picking data.
Modula Driver does not take main control of item registries management, main control is delegated to the company ERP, Modula Driver ensures that the Host system knows the specific location of the items to picked or refilled.
Each time there is a tray to be picked or refilled, the Host system sends commands to Modula Driver, it transfers the data to Modula vertical warehouse immediately.
When there is a command from the ERP arrives to Modula Driver, the operator can view the orders on the Modula console and decide which ones to execute.
The picking list page on Modula co-pilot console shows the data of each operation awaits to be performed. The operator is not allowed to modify the confirmed quantity, unless Host system changes requirements or the stock level is insufficient for picking.
Everything is online, operator can confirm the order to process.
Once the order is completed, Modula Driver will response to ERP, which resumes control and proceed with its next task in workflow.
