Pain Points
Orfit Industries’ business is growing rapidly, and they urgently need more storage space, higher picking efficiency, and automated warehouse management. However, traditional shelf warehouses take up too much space, are inefficient, and are prone to picking errors, which can no longer meet their increasing needs.

Orfit got to know Modula at a local exhibition in Belgium, and they were deeply impressed by the performance of Modula VLMs. In order to accurately manage a large number of orders and optimise warehouse space, Orfit purchased 7 Modula VLMs and put them into use immediately.
Without adding additional operators, the Modula VLM immediately demonstrated the advantages of saving space, increasing efficiency, and improving accuracy.
The picking efficiency alone has increased by nearly 6 times. Before the staff used the traditional shelf warehouse and operated manually, the order quantity was 40 pieces per hour. After installing the Modula VLM, their order processing quantity increased to 220 pieces per hour.
Orfit also divides the tray into different sizes of storage locations by tray extensions and dividers to store products of various sizes in a good manner, and the storage locations can be flexibly adjusted at any time.
