Pain Points
Parts and material boxes are often scattered on the warehouse floor, which is not only difficult to find but also affects the normal movement of staff in the warehouse. Warehouse materials need to come in and out in large quantities every day, and inventory data is often inaccurate.
Pacific Coast wanted to increase productivity, optimise space and enhance inventory control.
Solution
Pacific Coast successfully saved 80% of the warehouse area by installing a 9.5-meter Modula Lift automated warehouse.
Now, they store all the parts that were previously scattered on the warehouse floor in the Modula VLMs, and the Modula VLMs tray provides a flexible and adjustable warehouse layout at any time so that even the scattered parts can be properly and reasonably stored.
Modula WMS has achieved perfect integration with the company’s internal DMS system. When their DMS cannot provide accurate and effective inventory information, they can get real-time and accurate data through the Modula WMS system.
